    Thursday and Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Orchard at High Country Art Gallery; 13 East White Mountain Blvd., Pinetop-Lakeside. This free event features artists from all over the country in a variety of disciplines including painting, clay, metal art, glass, photography, wood, jewelry, and mixed media.   • 4th of July Parade, SplashZone & FreedomFest

    4th of July Parade, SplashZone & FreedomFest 

     4th of July celebration kicks off Friday, July 4 at 9:00 a.m. with the annual parade along the Deuce of Clubs from Owens St. east to White Mountain Road in Show Low.  SplashZone event immediately follows the parade at Frontier Park.  FreedomFest activities start at 3:00 p.m. at the Show Low High School baseball/softball fields located at 500 W. Old Linden Rd. Enjoy great food, great music, and family activities.  The event will conclude with the largest fireworks show in the White Mountains at 9:00 p.m.  For event details or more information,

  • 21st Annual Sipe White Mountain Wildlife Area Hummingbird Festival July 26

    July 26, 2025 

      8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at Sipe White Mountain Wildlife Area; two miles south of Eagar, AZ on U.S. Hwy, 191. This free, family-friendly festival features hummingbirds galore! Live wildlife exhibits, critter photo booth, bird biology presentation, kid’s activities and crafts, and food by Rusty’s Meat Shop. Donations of 5 pound packages of sugar accepted.   • Summer Adventure at Sunrise Park Resort

    Open Wednesday through Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. starting late June.  Summer activities include the new Sunrise Apache Alpine Coaster, Arizona’s longest and fastest zip line, downhill mountain biking, scenic chairlift rides, summer tubing hill, rock climbing wall, Airbag Jump, 3D archery, disc golf and horseback riding.
